One More Home Xbox Change

I was unaware that there was 3 times per year cap on changing your home xbox and was just wondering if there was any way i could get one more because I unknowingly wasted them all between my 2 xbox ones at home.

Setting home Xbox (2018)

Hello.

I changed my home Xbox too many times in 2017. The system told me to wait until December 31st so I did. I changed my home Xbox on new years day 1/1/2018 and I tried to change it one more time a week later and I received an error saying I cannot change
again until June because I had changed the maximum of 5 times already. I do not understand because I only changed it once and need to change it at least one more time.

Please allow me to change my home Xbox one more time at least before June.

My son wants to take the xbox one

Be more concerned if he changes the Xbox One's home status at the friends house. After 3 changes of the consoles "Home" status being changed, you have to wait 1 year from the initial change to set it back to your Home console.

What this does is give the friend access to all of the digital content on your Xbox One when the friends console is set to be the Home console.

As stated by Daft Badger, support can not help with Home Xbox changes. If you have used them all, you may be eligible for a one time change exception. assist you in designating an Xbox One Console as your home Xbox or How to change it.
You cannot designate more than one Xbox as your home Xbox at a time. You can share purchased games and Gold with other users only on your home Xbox.

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to five times during a one-year period. If you reach your limit of home console changes for the year, you’ll get a message letting you know the next available date you can change it. Try

You can change your home console up to 5 times every 12 months,which is more than enough.

The home console feature is meant to be used for households with more than one xbox one.

If you have reached the 5 times limit then you will have to wait until you can change it again.

No one will reset the counter for you.
