    One month old Xbox One S will only stay on for around a min then switches off.


    My one month old Xbox One S started developing problems a couple of days ago, starting with the downloaded GTA 5 game that i have played without fault for the past month would load up to start the game.

    I’ve spent almost 7 hours today trying to sort it out. Removed & reinstalled my account, reconfigured the console & finally uninstall then reinstall the game which gets to 62% then stops & wont continue installing the game. The console is plugged into wall
    socket & i have removed the cable to do the power cycle etc.

    The console now will only start up for around a minute & then switches off!

    Please help!

    My guess is that this is a power supply issue, you can order a specific XBOX ONE S power supply at GameStop, Microsoft, Best Buy, Amazon , Etc.

    I am so sorry to see that you are having issues with your console, it seems that this is not a Microsoft software issue but a console HARDWARE issue. I would recommend getting some cleaning supplies and get your console cleaned, there are plenty of videos
    online of how to do so but be wary as some will VOID WARRANTY. I will put a power supply link below as I had the same issue personally and remember to clean your console once a month, if you take care of it it shall do the same to you.

    I would take it or send it back to the store you purchased from as it clearly has a defect and is under warranty and only a month old
