Can I use the one-month Xbox Live Gold trial subscription after using or redeeming the 14-day one??

14 day code not working on 360 but is on One

As Smwutches alludes to, a 14-day Gold card is considered a "trial" subscription. The minimum for a full Xbox Live Gold membership, which would include the ability to access cloud saves, is one month; there are also three and twelve month cards available.

1 month trials are usually only given when you first create your account. So you would need to use that first and then use the 14 day trial.

I thought once you have used gold even if only a trial you cannot use another trial again. I'd use the 14 day 1st and then use the month. If you use the month first it may not let you use the 14 day trial. They are for brand new live users.

You can use trials even if you have had a gold subscription before.

Trials just don't stack onto an existing gold subscription or other trials.

that is why unable to get the backward compatible games. They will not work with the 14 day trial unfortunately. In this link

describing Xbox live gold there is a section explains the trials.

With an Xbox Live Gold 2- to 14-day trial, you can get Xbox One Games with Gold, and discounted Gold deals.

If it was a one month trial you could get the backward compatible games.

You're eligible for games with gold only if you're on an Xbox Live Gold one-month free trial.

If you're on a 14-day prepaid code trial, you're not eligible. You must have a current Xbox Live Gold subscription or trial that requires a credit card.

Some games or console bundles may include a prepaid code for a 2, 3, or 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.

I do not believe Xbox offers the one month free trial any longer with new accounts.
