One live account, and an X-box one and 360 in the same house.

I am getting a X-box one for myself and my son has a 360. The gold account has always been in my name, for 10+years, before there was even a gold account, just an on line account! But he has been using it for so long and has an unbelievable amount of achievements.
Do I need to get a separate gold account to play on-line at the same time as him? Both consoles are in the same home, on the same network.

And I would like to know if we can share all of the games that I have on disk and paid to DL to the 360. Again, both consoles in the same home.

Who bought an X1 and whose sticking with their 360?

I bought the x box one and give to my brother the x box 360 the console stay in the house. so I can play later future x box 360 games.

Home X Box designation Issues

I have (2 )x box one consoles in different rooms in the house. Each x box has it's own individual x box live account. I have tried switching the "Home X Box" settings in an attempt to play downloaded games purchased on one x box which will carry over and
download to the other x box by sign in preference. My issue is in not being able to switch the "Home X Box" designations which I am told will remedy this and allow the individuals playing on the two separate x boxes to play that game together and play the
game individually if one is not signed in. Option is to alleviate the purchase of two of the same games so son and daughter can play the games from separate rooms in the house. I have not switched the settings the 3 X limit however have repeatedly tried
it to an error that says "changes can not be saved....try again". Any ideas concerning the issue.

You can be signed into the 360 and One at the same time so it shouldn't be a problem if you both want to play at the same time. Although it would be better if you each had your own accounts.

If he's still using the same account he would still have access to all of your games on the 360. Even if you started another account for him, as long as he's using the same console he could access the games on the other account.

Can I just say that these details are for X Box One and they are not the same for X Box 360. There are no options for technical support on X Box 360.

I believe that you own the game on your own account right? If so, you will need to home share your game with your son otherwise he won't be able to play it from his own account. You will have to sign into his Xbox with your account, home share it, then he can sign in with his account to benefit from the game. You can do so by following the steps mentioned here => Designate a home Xbox | Xbox Support. Oh and yes, when you home share, you share all your games and subscriptions but not the DLC though.

Hello. Slightly different but related question i have a x box gold subscription but now have two x boxes in the house and not paying twice. Are they easily linked to the one account? If so how? Thanks in advance.
