One Java account and one bedrock account accidentally merged into one when migrating.

Hi, I have the same issue but what do you mean when the migration isn't successful? Because I merged my account a few months back and it worked just fine but with java and bedrock being one, it just mentions I have to pay again and it's not like I can try again because my Mojang account doesn't exist anymore, and has already merged.

Did you have two mojang accounts (one with Java and one with Bedrock), or did you have one mojang account (which had Java) and one Microsoft account with Minecraft for Windows, and you migrated this mojang account with Java to the Microsoft account that had Minecraft for Windows?

I ask because you cannot migrate two mojang accounts to only one Microsoft account. So if you had one mojang account with java and one mojang account with bedrock, you migrated them to two different Microsoft accounts.

I have one Mojang account with Java edition, and the other account is a Microsoft account with Bedrock-Windows 10 edition. I migrated the Mojang account to the Microsoft account with Bedrock.

Sorry to hear about what happened, however, since your dad used the same Microsoft account to migrate the Mojang account - technically it became one since Microsoft integrated both Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock through the years as they slowly migrated everyone.

I understand that it may worked fine because Java and Bedrock were running separately. But now, the Microsoft account system treats gamertag as the main identity across all platforms.

So your username on Java and gamertag on Bedrock are treated as one account, not two. With this, there's no way to remove or separate them at this point since your father migrated your Mojang account to a Microsoft account that was being on console.
