One Guide TV listings unavailable for Free to air.

So, I live in Australia. I have an Xbox TV Tuner attached to my console via the antenna. Can get a signal fine. Recognises all the channels just fine. One Guide TV listings, however, "no info available". Been like that for about a week. Connected to Xbox
Live. I have done the following multiple times:

Restarted the console,

Unplugged the antenna,

Unplugged the tuner from the console,

Reset my internet connection and also tried a different router,

Cleared One Guide,

Cleared history,

Scanned for channels again.

All the info is still missing, having said that, as soon as I connect to the tv, it tells me down the bottom of the screen what is currently on and next to air. Yet the entire One Guide has nothing to show.

Can someone shed some light as to what is wrong and if it can be fixed. I have tried everything except a new device.

Hi all, when will one guide TV listings will be available for middle east ? There are major service providers with online guides such as
www.osn.com/.../find-watch.aspx

 

Oh im glad im not the only one. Same here in Aus however mine wont connet to the tv anymore. It keeps aski g if the tv tuner is plugged in and ive done everything

No programme information in the OneGuide

And was unsuccessful.

It did search for new info in the EPG, the listing refreshed as I opened the EPG up, but found nothing on all channels.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've done all the troubleshooting and nothing worked, i definitely something on MS side. Hopefully someone get onto this soon.

 

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. I contacted chat support last week, told them about the issue and they said they're aware of a problem with the guide and are working on a fix. Contacted them again yesterday, and they assured me it's
still supported in the region despite several tweets from the official @xboxsupport account telling people it's not, and that they've escalated it to an engineer. Now, today, after hearing more reports on wirlpool/aussie outages/twitter, I get a direct message
from @xboxsupport telling me the guide's no longer supported in my region. What the hell?

Please give us a straight answer! If you've pulled support for the guide in Australia, just tell us! I know xbox are trying to appease only gamers these days, but I bought an xbox only a couple of months ago pretty much exclusively for tv/foxtel now/youtube/local
media streaming. If the guide's gone, some kind of warning would have been nice so I wouldn't have wasted my money. If it's not, any information on an ETA for a fix - or even an an acknowledgement of the problem on the live status page - would be mighty helpful.

 

I have also tried the same troubleshooting as suggested buy the links. To no avail! It is pretty ridiculous if they have decided that as a region we aren’t quite special enough for One Guide any more. And to take it away without
so much as notice? A bit of a low blow from MS.

 

Another Australian user here with the same problem.

All details are in the info, yet not loading to either the Oneguide or the Miniguide.

Please tell me that they haven't abandoned this feature.

 

I have the same problem. I doubt it was caused by Microsoft. It's more likely due to the changes that Freeview have been making to their services lately.

An update from Microsoft would be nice though! If it's not going to be fixed I'm going to ask for a refund as I bought the xbox for it's media abilities.

 

Yeah same issue here, have tried all the same steps with no luck. I remember the same thing happened earlier last year and MS had to fix something on their end.

agreed, I will ve asking for a refund on my Xbox One X if this feature is no longer supported. I use the Live TV / tuner daily.

 

Looks like we're finally getting somewhere. I got a PM on whirlpool yesterday morning from someone who claimed to be a Microsoft employee, telling me he's gonna try an internal push to get it fixed. I also received an email from support at about 11pm last
night telling me a fix is being worked on, thanking me for my patience, and that they'll get in touch again when it's sorted.

Even twitter's becoming more helpful as opposed to just saying it's no longer supported.
