    One Guide not working with Comcast


    Please Help!

    I am trying to set up my live tv with One Guide, but it never works.

    In the process of setting one guide up, the set up guide (Menu screens that prompt the initial setup)

    never asks for my zip code, so it never assigns a cable provider.

    I've tried to add cable provider info at a later point, but it isn't an option.

    Is there a problem with my console? I have Comcast Xfinity. I don't have a Kinnect.

    An online xbox tech told me to post a message here.

    Any advice is much appreciated!

    Microsoft teaming with Comcast on Wi-Fi issue

    Anybody having Wi-Fi issues with Comcast while playing Xbox One will be glad to know Comcast is working on it. Microsoft is working with them to get ahold on what's causing the issue.

    Need help setting up Xfinity X1 box with Xbox one

    Same problem here. I have picture, guide works fine. Won't change channels.

    I can even bring up the Comcast guide using the Comcast remote, but will not change the channel.

    Does that mean you went to Settings > TV & One Guide?

    The first option there should ask for your zip code.

    Conflict between Comcast box and Xbox One Guide

    It works great with my comcast dvd box. I didn't enter the box model number I just left it as a "comcast" box and I can do all voice commands, the guide works, voice channels work. Volume up and down works. TV on and off works. Haven't really figured out
    how to get the dvd to work yet tho.
