One Guide but No Cable Box

What will i need to get the guide if i don't have a cable box, i just have the cable coming out of the WALL (Coax) is it possible to get an adapter and the Xbox will give me a Guide of the basic 2-72 channels with no dvr box.... just basic cable. Thank you

Xbox One unable to control Cisco 4742HDC Cable Box

I have a Xbox one. My provider is Time Warner cable and my cable box is Cisco 4742 HDC. I recently purchased an IR extension cable and I am having and issue changing my one guide channels for my cable box. The IR cables are working fine and I have trouble
shooted my one guide and I have contacted Xbox support but when I go to enter my cable box remote code it does not appear.Can this box model be added to One Guide Thank you.

 

Sky HD + Harmony One remote + One Guide - does this combo work?

I just connected my Sky HD box to Xbox One and wanted to use One Guide instead of sky box tv guide. I'm using Harmony One remote, which works fine with Xbox One TV Tuner (disconnected now). Harmony works fine with xbox and I can open One Guide, but it seems
no commands are passed to Sky box and I can't change channels or access any of its features. How can I make it work with Sky HD + One Guide? Is a particular type of HDMI cable required? I don't have Kinect. Is IR cable or Kinect necessary for such setup?

I know I can program Harmony to talk directly to Sky box, but I'd like to use features of One Guide for sky.
