one good game followed by a real bad one

Ok just trying to make sense of why i have a killer game and the next game I have real stinker. I don't mind losing to good players but getting own 3-17 is not a result of my skill level. Are the servers dropping out at times. Also why are the signal
bars showing one bar then full? This is a good game and could be a great game if not for the lag and spawn killing.

Spinning problem

i get this problem too sometimes. but usually in real life, after a good night and tons of tequilla. sub sequently followed by a black screen.

 

ascend hand of kul will not launch it always kicks me back to the dashboard

this was some real good information, I followed the directions step by step twice and I am having the same problem thank you for trying

I've been saying this from day 1.....ahemmm, I mean Zero. Its really the only thing I cannot stand with this game. I accept when another player is better than me, I just can't get passed the fact that there is no way to truly judge true skill level due
to this teeter tottering shenanigans.

 

You can feel when its happening. When you are on the bad end and the good end of lag comp. As many wtf moments I've had I've had some "I bet that guys ***" moments. Horrible way to game. Dedicated servers would fix it. Just like they did when Gears
3 had them up.

 

Oh yeah, I have my games where I can't even believe I got that kill, so I know other player is pizzed off! A shame its like this.

 

The exo suits make the enemy unpredictable and flanking is easily attainable. Not to mention bad spawns. In previous COD's, it was much easier to guess the routes and spawns since they were ground based games.

hopefully the next cod will go back to ground only gametype. i haven't tried the classic mp. these maps are for jetpacks. i can't imagine i'd have the same sanctification not using one for AW.

 

had a really good hour last night, using the bolt action sniper, then lag and shutting ruined my play. its a shame really, as i feel this cod is one of the best yet, my favorite mw been the best overall.

and the connection bars are up and down all the time. ive had those wtf moments too. like. how the hell did i die and how the hell i killed him?

its ever worse for the pc gamers, i was a pc gamer for ten years. but for fps games i play em on console to avoid bad ports.

 

its not much to do with lag comp, they share the good connection around from player to player so they dont get too frustrated, i mean the 12 year old kids that cod is now aimed at and we all know how impatient these kids are, its been like this since black
ops one, seriously guys dont you think they would have fixed this by now? im afraid this kind of connection is obviously here to stay, if you want true skill and zero lag comp head over to cod 4 there are still full lobbies of team death on there, face it
guys cod is for kids now because thats where the money is for activision/infinity ward, for us older gamers cod now... its just a frustrating lag fest

 

I just slow up and begin to just lock down areas of the map. I rather go 7-3 then deal with 15-13 or 10-11. I also take into account the maps I know I always do great and go hard because my style of play no matter the opponents suites the map. When the map
and lag comp take affect I once again slow it down and go for a team player mentality of assistance, call outs and taking out UAVs.

As I have gotten older I have begun to implement more patience, tactics, and KNOW WHEN. Not know how. Been ranking up the fastest I have ever ranked up and its been enjoyable, and at times I say to myself, holy !!!! did I just play that well? Feels nice
to be surprised at my gameplay.

 

@CatchingDog061 Pay close attention to the lag and you can see this by the ping bar. I have been in matches where we were dominating and the match was close to over. We had a big lead. All of a sudden the other team is invincible. You could literally
be shooting a guy in the back while a teammate goes straight up and they still win. Harder to tell when it is one on one. And you will hear a lot of: "get better" and "you suck" but some of it really is the this game.

I may not be the best. Do not even try to be. And really do not care about things like k/d. But when a player kills a teammate. Then comes sprinting around the corner only to slide and shoot you that could be bad. No big deal right. It is when the
player is facing way from you by 90 degrees and you die before the player even targets you. Then again, it could be lag causing me to see him slide past me. It could be a bad replay that looks exactly like what I saw. But, considering I knew the guy and
he verified the WTF moment I have to wonder.

Not to mention the not even close shots that kill with snipers. Or the fact, I know because I have been on the good side of this twice now, that the game can appear fairly smooth yet you are darn near un-killable.

Now, I like the game mostly. I had fun with the campaign. I have fun with the MP. But starting a match 0-10+ because you get the drop on a guy and he kills you by spinning and hip firing. Not to mention she/he was using an SMG and you die before she/he
actually hits you and with very few bullets being even close. Followed by spawning a few times in a row into death because either someone is directly behind you or you spawn right by a teammate and are being shot before you can even move. That makes for
a very "fun" time.

Follow up the previous scenario which has happened to me a few times to varying degrees with matches where your team is dominating. All of a sudden a whole clip is not enough to kill opposing players. You literally are winning, kill confirmed, by 20+ points
with little more to go. Then the other team just cannot die. They make a quick comeback and end up winning. I have come to recognize these and am very careful to engage. Checking the ping bar verifies the in most cases everyone is red. And if not they
are red a lot with the bar jumping up and down a lot.

Typical CoD though. Maybe a little worse for the bad moments. My second oldest son is average to above average I would say. His tactics are quickscoping (which is very bad on this game, you can miss by a mile) and doing the drop shot. He can carry a
2.5-3.0 k/d most of the time online. Mine is about 1.1 k/d. I can beat him every time. Same for a few of his friends and they have good online k/d. But he knows his connection gives him a huge advantage online. He will not play wired. He played wireless
and puts his tablet on the connection and stuff. Bam, he gets an advantage. Not sure if he is being made host or not but the connection is fast enough for it. He just bogs it down. Makes me wonder if all this is not due to their coding. Wrong people getting
host or just generally compensating for them to the point they get that advantage. And I have tried it. I had 30+ kills and 10 or less deaths every match on his account. So it works for sure.

 

Guys come January and before the dlc drops it stabalizes. High amount of gamers online so the online component is still handling all the traffic thus over compensation and games full of WTF moments. . I just try to get in a good amount of games before the
Christmas newbies hit the scene thus adding more stress on the game.

Ahhh yes this the season to celebrate the arrival of Christmas newbs.
