One game works. Nothing else launches...PC Game Pass

I just installed the newest update for Windows 10. no games have worked except for iron harvest for some reason. I've tried troubleshooting, resetting and cannot for the life of me figure out why nothing from Microsoft will launch and play but Steam has no issues

That didn't help sadly. It seems those two files are now gone forever. Any other advice that doesn't involve deleting anything?

Create a notepad file with the following name:

"RepairGamingServices.ps1"

inside the file paste this text (if quotes):

"

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices" -recurse

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet" -recurse

Then, to run, right-click on the file, and run as administrator. then restart windows. then you need to open the Xbox app from Windows 10 that will be warning you that you need to install an extra component for the app, accept and wait for the installation. After that, Microsoft guarantees that you will be able to reopen and download Xbox Game Pass games on Windows 10.

try the following:

- press on the keyboard Windows + R and type in the run the command "regedit".

- Search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - System - CurrectControlSet - Services

- Delete the "GamingServices and GamingServices.net"

- Then open your XBOX application which will ask for the Game Service to be installed, after completion it will work again

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist. The game pass subscription is a service offered for the Xbox One console, although Xbox Play Anywhere titles are available on PC using the GamePass. Here is an excerpt from the Xbox Gamepass description, "Xbox
Game Pass is an Xbox One, Xbox Play Anywhere, and Xbox 360 backward compatibility game subscription for Xbox One; an active subscription is required to play games."
