    One Friend is Permanently Muted


    One of my friends seems to be permanently muted... Nothing I do takes him off mute, he is just stuck like that. I often play with 2 other people, and 1 can hear both of us, and we are unable to hear each other. When I click "unmute" nothing ever happens.
    Is there something else I am supposed to do? Privacy settings are all set to adult and i can hear all my other friends, except for this one.

    my friend is permanently muted, and we're both muted to eachother but everyone else in the party can hear eachother.. help?

    I would be great if you got your friend to comment here or create a new thread. it seems he might have an communication suspension.

    tell your friend to sign in here and see if he has the suspension noted above.

    He currently has no communication suspension. And to frame scenario more clearly:

    There is player A, player B, player C.

    Player B can talk to both, A and C. And A and C can talk to and hear player B. However, Player A and Player C cannot talk to or hear eachother.

    Also, this is while Player A, B and C are all in the same game in Halo 5 and on the same team.

    So are you all friends?, because someone or both have privacy setting stopping them hearing each other.

    have both A and C check to see if they muted eachother?. It will be great to get them to comment here too.

    Can you hear each other in a party chat?.

    im having the same problem its NOT a ban its NOT privacy settings us 2 just cant hear each other hell we can play with just us 2 together just cant hear

    Im having the same issue I got it to unmut once but after that it automatically muted him again

    same problem! He is permanently muted. I have friend pressing the unmute button tons of times... doesn’t work. I’ve tried using the app... doesn’t work.. I have done many, many things. It appears this is on the Microsoft end and They nude to fix it TOMORROW.
    I’m seriously gonna buy a PlayStation if it isn’t fixed.
