    One drive and the xbox companion app.


    After the latest xbox update I can no longer stream the xbox one to the companion app if I'm using the one drive app. I use this app to play my xbox 360 on my xbox one and then stream it to the companion app on my pc, which inturn I can stream/record footage
    via obs. Is there a reason as to why this change was implemented in the latest update?

    Screenshots and clips are uploaded on the Xbox network, but if you saved ones to an external hard drive, disconnect that drive.

    If you want to export the clips and screenshots from the Xbox network you can do it using the Xbox console companion app on PC

    Or the Xbox mobile app

    Xbox Console Companion App won't stream Xbox to laptop.

    The Xbox is an Xbox One S, OS version is 10.0.2261.3446 (xb_flt_2302ni.230208-1530)

    Console Companion App version is 48.89.25001.00000.

    I have no option to update either the console or companion app, yet the app says one of them is out of date.

    You don't need an Xbox to use the Xbox Companion app. If that doesn't work I'm afraid that doing a clean install of Windows and formatting the hard drives will be necessary.
