    I have the one and the 360,my son lives in another house,and we would like to play some games together online.If we both connect online with those systems,would we each have to have the "disk game"or can one have the game and the other come online and play
    with them?i.e kinda like you would playing a online PC game.Or can someone walk me though what I would have to do to both play on a team on a game using those systems.

    Short answer, sign into the console with the Microsoft account that owns any digital licenses and they will be available for download provided they are backwards compatible titles! Give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any other

    Just to add, you would want to save your 360 game saves on the cloud in order to load them on those games on the One.

    You would both have to have the same system and a copy of the game each to play each other on-line.

    You also need to both using the same type of console as Xbox 360 can not play online with Xbox One.

    If the game is made for the One it will only work on the One. 360 games can work on the One, but One games do not work on the 360. You would have to purchase the 360 version to play it on the 360.

    I have no problem paying full price as I know the amount of time and enjoyment that I'll get out of it in both single player and online will be worth it. But I can't help but think that they could offer some sort of price discount for returning players similar
    to what Minecraft Xbox One Edition had for owning the 360 Edition. I guess the greed is too strong.

    Anything that will carry over to the One should automatically show up as ready to install or will show in the cloud storage when you try to pull up a save for backwards compatible games. Otherwise you can't manually move anything between the consoles using
    a flash drive or other device.
