Once again out comes an unfinished console

Seriously what is with you useless people? You release a console that has problem after problem along with games that also are unfinished.

Where do I start

1) Controllers keep Disconnecting for no reason what so ever

2) Signing in to xbox live the useless Kinect 2. garbage hardly recognises you

3) I have lost count of how many times I have had to restore my console to factory settings

4) Accepting invites you press the guide button it takes you to the dashboard or to the option to turn it off

5) The constant crap of the xbox party chat dropping the headset and using the kinect for chat it makes you sound like you are under the sea

thats only 5 of the problems this console [Mod Removed} and i wish I could get my money back for it and go buy a PS4 or even a Wii

I have had it with your constant useless updates that do nothing or how about the installing of the games to the HD that take up to 4 hrs

once again the video game consumer is duped in to buying a unfinished beta game that needs so many fixes and patches.

no wonder these games are hacked with save game editors, since you kind of feel screwed out of $60 for what is an unfinished almost broken game.

Hi, this forum is viewable by all members and ages within the community, so please keep the talk clean.

Let's see about those issues you listed...

1) You are likely to get controller errors due to the controller batteries or wire being loose, or the controller is faulty (though this is unlikely).

2) You can say "Xbox sign in as [Your Name]"

3) Why did you have to restore the console to factory settings?

4) Only hold the guide button for about a second, don't press it once, and don't hold it for about 3 seconds.

5) Party chat shouldn't be a problem if you have an Open NAT type. You can adjust the headset to fit as needed. Kinect for chat is not meant for a gaming chat microphone, and you should sit closer to it for better sound quality.

Microsoft are releasing updates and patches to make the console better and even more stable. Features have to come out in stages and different updated, so please be patient.

Well I wouldn't say that the xone is bad it just needs a few tweaks....

I know for curtain that 95 % of the people would appreciate the old Xbox360 Menu back when you hit the X BOX button, this was so much simpler then it is now... I just find it , it's to long to go to my friends and send out an invite. The party chat needs
tweaking too in my eyes, the quality is great but the connectivity is way worse then the 360 to be honest. Honestly just hope they'll release a massive patch soon with lots of tweaks and fixes that are going more towards the old x box interface which is more
user friendly and better overall.

 

It's mind blowing how user-unfriendly the menu system and general connectivity is on this console. TC hit it on the head and is 100% correct about #3 and #5. Kinect is more problematic than it is helpful/fun.

they took a good design and made it worse, why should we HOLD a button down to accept an invite? is there any other device that makes you do this? No. You press a button and it's done. I'm sure a bunch of other people feel the same and are confused as to
how these commands work.

it's this^^^^^ type of annoyance that kills the experience... don't even get me started on the party chat switching from headset to TV speakers.. I asked for help on that topic yesterday and received no answer at all

Ok 1st off both controllers are using a play and charge kits and down on the right bottom of home screen it shows them 3/4 full also the 1st 2 controllers i bought were faulty and both had to be replaced as the micro usb connection on both became loose one
of the controllers i use now i need to wrap the charge wire around the controller to even work

2) signing in with kinect voice doesnt work nor does "xbox turn on" the thing is just a useless dust connector

3) I had to restore my xbox once for a profile that was corrupted on nba2k

the other time was when i downloaded the map packs on cod as it would not play the disc then i done it again on Friday when I installed trials from marketplace as once again the games would not load or even open the would go to title screen then kick me
back to dash

4) the guide button seriously why have so many uses for one button its just stupid that press it quick is dash hold for a second it will open invites and hold for 2 seconds and then it gives you the option to turn off

5) my NAT is open it has been from the start trust me i have the best connection you could get in my neck of the woods also the best modem and i also have IPV6 which supposedly is the best way to play xbox as that was a major selling point for the console
yet when i called microsoft the tell me its not supported yet (unfinished console) so i have to run IPV4

the console was rushed out to compete with ps4 and not finished to a standard that the PS has it kills me to turn this on every night but the only reason I stay with xbox is the people i have met online if everyone of us had the option to choose consoles
again I could almost guarantee we would all be on PS4

I understand that eventually it will be fixed and it will take time but it just seems unfair to charge people for a service that is not up to standard

Must say I've never been as disappointed with a console. Started off badly, took 12 hours to download Titanfall, which wasn't worth it in the end. Watched a few blu ray's on it so far and thats all i've used it for. Just glad I didn't sell my 360. And don't
even get me started on the menu's and user interface. I switched from the PS3 to 360 for that reason.
