on xbox one games not appearing

Do you have an External hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, kindly unplug the hard drive and then perform a powercycle before reinstalling the game.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Make sure to keep it unplug.

I am also having problems when downloading Xbox 360 games with Gold for Xbox One. I have a valid payment on file. I click download and a message appears saying this game will appear on your Xbox 360. It does not appear on my Xbox One in my games waiting
to be installed. Can someone please help. I have also spoken to an agent on Xbox live chat and followed the instructions to the letter and still cannot download Xbox 360 games.

Xbox 360 games that you have claimed with Gold belonging to "Games With Gold" do not appear within the category with the same name of the library in Xbox Series, they appear within the category "Owned Games".

Have you verified that the games you are looking for appear there?

The ones that appear in the "GWG" section are the Xbox One/Series games.

Hm, not sure if those games would make an appearance on Xbox One. Some are on Windows 10 and Steam PC so that may be an alternative for Xbox One games not being on Xbox One.
