    On the subject of switching the xbox 360 video output


    Okay, so here's the situation;

    I got an HD PVR (Avermedia Game Capture HD) and almost everything works out so far. My problem is that the PVR can only record on the "component" output, but my xbox only plays on the "HDMI" output.
    How do I make the video output switch from HDMI to component so that I can record with my PVR? Thanks in advance.

    I am having problems with xbox 360 S HDCP Link not found?

    It could be the way the ID pins are wired in the AV cables to idenfity the type. Third party cables can get this wrong (switching to S-video or SCART mode), and since the Xbox 360 expects only an audio dongle to be connected at the same time as HDMI, it
    may get confused.

    I'm glad it works now.

    Check though if your TV retains communication over HDMI with the Xbox 360 when switching inputs - if it doesn't, the Xbox 360 will reboot to output analog video over the AV cable instead. It's better to know in advance if this will happen than to discover
    it mid-game if temporarily switching over to another input. On the subject of switching the xbox 360 video output :)

    Xbox- Live TV Scientific Atlanta 8300 Constantly Switching between Output Resolution (480i, ,480p, 720p, 1080i)

    xbox one live tv troubleshooting, scientific atlantic 8300hd cable box, cable box continues to switch between (480i, ,480p, 720p, 1080i) every few minutes causing TV to pause and reset aspect ratio and then switch back. I have tried setting output on cable
    box to only one video quality box but it always keeps switching video output quality.

    I had that same problem and I still don't know how to switch it correctly but I just kept unplugging and plugging in RCA and hdmi cables and it seemed to work.

    Can I use VGA Monitor with Xbox One S:Digital Edition

    If you are using an analog video input you will need a full digital to analog video converter, as the HDMI video output of the Xbox One is not compatible with analog video by itself.

    There are many great tutorials on YouTube on this subject, I would definitely recommend My Life in Gaming’s video in particular, they are extremely thorough and well-researched.

    I need help/ advice with sound issues on xbox one.

    As far as I can remember, Netflix on Xbox 360 had the option to change sound output (stereo or surround) once you had begun playing a video that supported both? Pick a recent movie to test this with; play it and then bring up the controls for subtitles,
    etc and check if there is the option to switch sound output.

    It may or may not be the same for the other apps you're having this problem with.
