On screen keyboard not pulling up

The problem is that the onscreen keyboard or virtual keyboard will not appear whenever I try to search, enter passwords, or text the virtual keyboard never appears the cursor flashes a few times then stops the controller is completely unresponsive the only responsive button on the controller is the home button in the center of the controller which pulls up an onscreen menu that I still can't navigate because no other buttons on the controller are responsive but like I previously said this is only temporary but as soon as I need to pull up the virtual keyboard it happens all over again my virtual keyboard will not appear onscreen

You press the menu buttion the one with 3 lines on it before you pull up the keyboard and select paste

I meant that when u type using keyboard on xbox edge browser a pop on screen keyboard also appears which blocks the screen i was asking if their was a way to remove that pop up keyboard when using a keyboard

I'm not quite sure if you are asking how to pull up the chat using a keyboard or if there is an issue. If it's the former, you can do it by pressing the / key on the keyboard. If it's the later, check your settings to ensure chat is enabled.

I have the on-screen keyboard brought up on my television on the Xbox One and using my controller to push the buttons on the on-screen keyboard and there is no enter button
