On my xbox it's saying that the servers are down

As per checking, there are no issues at the moment. In this case, you may just need to perform an extended powercycle and reset the network hardware by following the steps below:

"1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

I am getting frustrated with Xbox it’s self. Xbox support is awesome but the console sucks. Released this thing before getting all the bugs. When the servers go down for a week at a time there is a problem. Did they get hacked? Xbox is hiding something.
Gotta say my ps4 rarely goes down like this. How are they gonna lie and say the servers are up buyback when you message an expert they say the servers are down. Makes no sense. Will be my first and last xbox

What grinds my melon is that they claim that the servers are up and functional, when they aren't operating at 100%..Just farking stupid that they can pass this stuff off and play dumb.

I just got on for a few and played a ffa match. It seemed fine, but did take a bit of time to find a match...... not real long, just longer than usual.

Lol, I just got this, decided to go onto Mw3 and same ***, servers are down....
