on Halo 5 resume campaign takes me back to dashboard on X1

I push resume campaign and right before the game starts it brings me to the dashboard over and over again. Cant even start campaign at all, I was on legendary to.

OK - new to Halo. Played it once. Wasn't overly keen. Played and finished another game. Gone back to Halo. Went to campaign but it appears that I have to find where I left off: Prologue or Dawn. Two saves under Dawn. Couldn't work out which one was the last
save. Ended up started over. What kind of bullcrap is that?! Most games just have a resume campaign button. It's gone back on the shelf....

my mw2 Xbox 360 multiplayer won't work whenever I click on it It takes me back to the dashboard? My campaign and special ops work though? What should I do ?

 

yea same thng is happening to me as well. i started after the halo update

 

i updated halo resumed the game and all seemed fine then midway through playing got disconnected and ever since try to resume and seems fine then as the count down starts get sent back to the dashboard?? The way things are going with Xbox one may soon be
selling it and going back to my Xbox 360... Not impressed

 

Same happened to me. After the update, the campaign crashes just after the countdown. . I am a huge fan o Halo, but it is so frustrating not being able to play the game even in Single Player, because here in Brazil it has been almost impossible to get a
match at Warzone, even with the new update. I am really disappointed...

Please 343 Studios and Microsoft, you are our only hope!

 

I'm having the same problem. I'm try to "resume" my solo saved game on mission 13 (Genesis) and I automatically get resent to the dashboard or home screen. Also, I notice when I restart the level from my last check point and play, if I go down after my checkpoint
and the AI don't revive me and I die, then I also get kicked back to the home screen. I'm getting upset since I can't finish mission 13 now...

This all started yesterday after the Halo update.

 

Same thing is happening to me. I'm very angry about this. I have a slow internet connection (the fastest available in my neighborhood) and I had to wait about ten hours to play Halo 5 between the two updates. Now I can't play it at all because of this
update! I expect to be compensated by Microsoft for this. I can't believe that I paid $60 to not play a game (and download 15 GB in updates)!

 

same thing happening to me. I called support and they made me uninstall/reinstall the game and delete and reinstall my profile and clear my mac address and clear blu-ray data and it STILL is doing the same thing. the update is obviously bad.

 

Do we know a fix for this as I also have the same problem

 

For now the only fix is to restart the level. I've contacted Microsoft here in Brazil and they told me they are already aware of the problem and a definitve solution is under way, possibly this week. Let's wait...

 

This is absolutely ridiculous. Remember the day when you just put a game in your system and it worked? Remember when games shipped when they were complete and you didn't have to wait all day to download large updates? I SURE DO!!!!

 

I am having same problem. Resuming campaign takes me to XB1 home page. Loading a saved check point will start game, but when I die I get kicked back to XB1 home page. Also I haven't seen any "updates" for the new big team battle in war zone . Going to
try restarting the level. Will let you all know if it works.

 

Success! I have restarted campaign mission 5. So far all is well. Left game and them resumed. Game started. Died while in game and respawned in game. Hope this works for all. Will post if problem returns.

 

I downloaded an update today and that seems to have fixed the problem. I'd still like some compensation from Microsoft for the inconvenience. I mean, I bought this game just a day or two before the update rendered it unplayable. Wasted time is wasted
money. Even just $1 in Microsoft credit would make up for it.
