On demand, no multiplyer/co-op?

Today they have borderlands 2 for $9.99 and it says there is no multiplayer or co-op is this true? I was never into the first borderlands but alot of people have recommended this one and for $9.99 i was thinking of getting it but not if i cant play with
friends.

i've already got the 4 player co-op but i'm working on the force multiplyer and i'll be willing to help with your co-op to get i, i have the active reload and big explosion mutators which help alot...i'll be on later this

there is coop off and online. that pretty much what the game is all about, and yes it is a good game so for that price get it.

Playing it fine.I think the problem is people with the disc version can't join people with the games on demand version to do co-op/PvP.

Same i downloaded it and I went to the start screen whare it says multiplyer and warzone and campaign.and i click on the multiplyer tab and it says please install multiplyer all of this happens after the update got downloaded idk whats happening
