    On Demand Game Language


    Hi,

    My Xbox Live account is localized in France, so most On Demand games are automatically offered in French.

    Is there a way to get the English version of those games On Demand? e.g. Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, etc.

    I left France a year ago, however, since I also have a Music Pass, migrating my account will be a hassle...

    I'm a Korean user using game on demand to buy a g game,

    it is so expensive to buy a assassin's creed in offline, So i determined to use game on demand.

    but when i buy assassin's creed 3,4 game on demand, i find out that version of game on demand doesn't support Korean language subtitle. because offline version has already applied Korean language subtitle officially.

    So can microsoft changes version of game on demand to version of korean language apllied?

    sorry to my english i'm not used to it ...

    Games on demand language

    You cannot change the language of on demand games as they are download from the Marketplace (unless there is an in-game option).

    The language is pre-selected based on which languages the game supports and which of those would be most appropriate for the region you are in.

    MK9 and Dark Souls probably do not support French and therefore you got it in English, whereas Oblivion does and so you get the French-language version.

    Ok. And if I purchase it through the online US marketplace, will it automatically purchase the French version?

    On Demand Game Language

    I'm having a similar problem.

    I am english but I live in italy and so my supported region is italy.

    Today I downloaded Dishonored and it told me that the supported languages would be french, italian, german and spanish.

    I wouldn't have minded having it in italian and I expected to get the game in italian (seen as that is the region I am in) but to my surprise it was in french!!!

    Does anybody have any advise as to what I should do please?

    yes purchased content goes by the region of your account

    @kaz

    again only if your account region is the US

    if you are trying to queue it using the us website it wont work as us content isn't available to French marketplace

    if you don't live in the US migration will only cause problems as triple a titles are tend to be region locked

    and currency does not transfer between regions

    Hi,

    Sorry, but this particular Game on Demand does not support the Russian language. In the Russian description of this game it lists "This game supports English" and no other languages.

    It would seem since Russian is not a valid language for this Games on Demand version they give you the default which is English.
