OMG - what happened to COD!

This is the worst COD ever! it gets worse every year! if ever a game needed to get back to its roots, it's this. Jesus, what is wrong with these people? we have to go back t basics - WW2 with nome of this fancy [Mod removed]. Good campaign, a good variety
of mp maps, and guns. Nothing else. Wow - so, so, so, so bad. Embarrassing!

ops 1 is rubbish..how can treyarch produce a classic like world at war then come up with cr*p like ops..guess its the same with iw and cod 4..omg whats happened to cod???

I completely agree. What is wrong with people? Every year they complain it's the worst one and every year they buy it again. Honestly, why should they do anything different with it? You suckers are gonna buy it no matter what.

From a business perspective, it would be a waste of time and effort for them to try anything new. Fix it? Why should they fix it? You already gave them your money. And you'll give them more when they tell you to.

 

I have to disagree.. I think they did a great job this year. Far better then MW3 and Ghosts. I do respect your opinion, and I can see why some people would hate this CoD. But like I said.. I really enjoyed it.

 

Im with Raging this is the first time I have bought COD in like 3 years and did not return it the same week I bought it.

 

I don't know, I actually enjoyed Advanced Warfare more than I thought I would. The last Call of Duty I purchased & seriously devoted time to was Black Ops 1, so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe you're just
experiencing fatigue of the brand, it may benefit you to skip the next couple of entries in the series if that's the case.

Are you talking about Advanced Warfare? Several of my friends have it. I might get it cuz it has ZOMBIES. I love COD BO2 zombies favourite map is buried and it's multiplayer. I don't really play multiplayer like team deathmatch search and destroy much but
I like zombies. I saw this exo zombies new bread of zombies video on Youtube on Microsoft's Xbox channel. It looks flash and scary. My friend who I was in an XBL Party on Xbox 360 said with AW you have to reach a certain level to unlock it. In COD BO2 zombies
I'm at the top of the leaderboards with my friends but in multiplayer like TDM and S&D I'm only level 28 no prestige. To top it off, JB Hi Fi is selling COD AW for only NZ$72 for Xbox 360 and NZ$78 for Xbox 1, usually it would be RRP$104-$120 for the game
in my country. COD Ghosts on release RRP'd for NZ$128 but I got it for $104. Games can be expensive here due to the NZ currency.

 

Hello everyone

Please understand that It isn't my intention to be mean / rude, but how is the Call Of Duty franchise able to sustain such a large fanbase when COD games come out every year.

Based on my observation, the changes that are added to each COD iteration is mininal at best as the developer is literally " cutting & pasting " it.

With that being said, I am not bashing the COD franchise. I am just saying that games in a series should be spaced at least 2 to 3 years apart.

I love the Halo franchise, but I lost interest in it story wise at the end of Halo 3 and game wise with Halo 4 Spartan Ops.

This is the reason that I didn't buy Halo Master Chief Collection and the reason that I will not be buying Halo 5 Guardians.

I am really amazed on how the COD franchise can sustain such a loyal fan base; as the fan base is highly resistant to series fatigue.

Who else would like to see a return to WW2? I think this is what the series needs. We've had 6 games in the modern / advanced era. It's time! COD2 was my favourite. That game blew me away on the 360 at launch.

 

In fact, unless I'm mistaken, there hasn't been a WW2 game on any console for years! Why is this?

Many people simply presume that all COD's are the same because the series is produced yearly but they themselves never play the game and simply write it off as being repetative through ignorance.
