OMG , Evolve is going to drive me to drink

Yes alcohol and gasoline... anyways, So I enjoy this game very much, but today I thought Id mix it up and try out the "monster " ( I hate generic titles like that ) and JFC !!! the game starts and I got like 4 secs to get the hell out of dodge,barely enough
time to hunt creatures and level up before the hunter are wearing my face like underwear. Is there something I am missing here ? This is HUNT mode I beleive , I just cant seem to make any headway here.

Dont get me wrong, the challenge is most welcomed but god damned I cant figure out how this guy works? any tips ?

It is true that more updates don't always equate to more HDD space being used up

From my prespective based on the games that I've played (Destiny and Halo 5: Guardians), updates have always led to the game eating up more HDD space.

EVOLVE Is Going FREE-TO-PLAY.

I've got the game and quite like it but I do think them keeping it for sale at the moment is a mistake. They are now making the console users wait for the large patch they've been promising for months as it's tied to this F2P update. It's only going free
on PC for now which is really a total kick in the proverbials for console users, especially as it's generally a bigger player base on consoles than PC, so they are effectively making the people who've supported them the most wait for the new and improved update.

Anyway hopefully if they pull it off then it will revive the game, it's got a steep learning curve but is really a good laugh once you get to grips with it.

 

Yeah the humans were on me like flies to a cow patty on a country road. It was a bit annoying. Time to hunt and eat? umm how!?

 

I know right ? there has to be a trick we are missing ? skill maybe lol ?

 

The name of the game is "Evolve" and this is what you are currently NOT doing as the monster.

It is the main reason you are dying so quickly.

So at the Main Menu I believe there's something like an "Extras" or something along those lines.

Select it and watch the Monster Tutorials which give you both beginner and advanced instructions.

As the monster you don't want to fight the Hunters early. You're a baby monster and they'll clobber you.

You want to get away from the Hunters as quickly and as stealthily as possible. Use "sneak" so you don't leave a trail. Get far away and only then start eating with the goal of evolving to Level 3.

The "Back" button (the one to the left of the big X in the middle) is your friend as it brings up the minimap.

Head to an area that has lots of space so you don't get trapped or cornered.

Get yourself to level 3 and build your armor up.

If you get trapped in the dome before you are fully levelled up then you need to prioritise your targets.

Know who the "Trapper" character is and prioritise them if you want to bring the mobile arena down.

Know who the Medic character is and kill them so that the Team can't be healed anymore.

Play some solo runs against the A.I. and you should get the hang of it easily enough as well as levelling up your monster as you do so.
