    Sorry if it’s a silly question, but I have an old Xbox one controller for windows 10 that works with the xbox plugin doggle. I’ve heard the new system ( I’ve preordered Xbox one X ) works with the new Bluetooth controllers.

    I just wanted to make sure that it still works with the older non Bluetooth Xbox one controllers for the new systems, would save me from having to buy a second controller. Thanks

    Plug n Play chargers

    Hi all,

    Does anyone have a problem with plug n play chargers with the new Xbox one X contoller? They work in my old xbox one controller, but not in the New Xbox one X controller. It's the Orb charger. Any ideas,

    When you say "x box 360 pad" are you referring to an Xbox 360 controller? If so, I have to let you know that they are not
    compatible with the Xbox One, see "Xbox One backward compatibility FAQ".

    Because it's a newer model xbox. Older ones need to ssee if the new disks that they will use will be compatible with older models.

    Yes, because all the official xbox one controllers are compatible with all xbox one consoles (original, S, S all digital & X) and even with the future Series X. All the xbox one controllers have the wireless protocol, the newer versions of the controller
    have also the bluetooth but it is not used to communicate with the xbox one consoles.

    Sorry, this game or app isn't compatable (0x87e10007)

    I uninstalled the game then reinstalled it and it works now. That link doesn't explain why it would be compatable with my series X but not my Xbox one X. If it's compatable with the newer box surely it would be with the older box. Or have I simplified things too much? Anyways it's working now
