Older joystick and steering wheels

Hi,

I currently own a Microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2 joystick and a Logitech momo racing wheel from 2002.

I mainly play on my Xbox one s and would like to you at least the joystick on Xbox any chance you could help with this

Hi Ethan! I regret to inform you that these accessories are not compatible with Xbox One or Series consoles. All I can recommend is looking into newer compatible options provided by brands such as Logitech and Thrustmaster.

MS Sidewinder Force Feedback has been out of production for 20 years, it's not supported any longer by Windows even. Even if it did work, the games would have to specifically contain the drivers to support its features.

If the peripheral is not specifically marked as for Xbox, it won't work

There are joysticks available for Xbox, The Airbus flightstick, and several HOTAS setups for example.

if they supported older tech, that would mean they would lose sales or licence sales on third party products for new updated controllers and wheels.

Personally I dont not have a Sidewinder FF joystick or steering wheel for the xbox one.

If the equipment works for your older Xbox console then it should work with the newer Xbox One X, without issue. Also, I aplogize if my information is incorrect.

Im not sure if anyone has tried them on an Xbox. The Sidewinder devices were meant for the PC. They are older devices. Its very unfortunate that Microsoft didnt continue to support thr drivers for them.

Apparently they only cared about selling them, not about long term customer satisfaction. It couldnt have taken that much effort to continue driver support for them.

Its really a shame because the Sidewinder FF Joystick and Steering wheel are considered by many to be the best ever.
