    Older games not downloading


    Hey there, I bought forza horizon 3 a few years back and used it on my Xbox one s, I recently thought of the nostalgia and thought I would try re-download it on my newer Xbox series x, however, it doesn’t load at all and every less than 5 minutes, an error comes up telling me to try clean my disk as it is “dirty”, now I know this can’t be true, as the disc barely has any scratches and I’ve cleaned it multiple times, I also know that it can’t be storage because it says it has more than the amount from the game, a few months ago I also tried re-downloading need for speed heat on my series x, and the exact same thing happened.

    Please help!

    Older games not downloading

    Disc damage can be microscopic, and disc rot happens over time.

    Please try the disc in another Xbox to make sure it's not the drive

    family of 3 could play halo multiplayer with 2 consoles and 1 pc sharing gamepass but 1 console and 2 PC's cannot?

    Iare you talking about infinite or older games.

    If infinite then just download the multiplayer part as it's free

    If older titles then yes you need to sign in with the subscribed account on the xbox app to download the game.

    Same, games recently downloaded on Ultimate Game Pass aren't working for me (Halo 5, Halo MCC, Hue, PES2019) with that same error code, but older downloaded games are working.

    They will be, although there are other games in my library that are older (and also 360 games) that I can still access, download and play.

    only 360 games can be installed to hard drive older games cannot unless they are download version from the marketplace.
