Older Gamertag, retrieving it, and XBL Phone Support..

Hey guys first off, thanks for reading I appreciate it. Hopefully this is the right place.

I had a 360 back in 2010 but it crashed(red rings) and I tossed it. I just got another 360 a few days ago, and I tried getting back my old gamertag but i couldnt recall my old account password unfortunately. The xbox live support basically said there was
no hope. Although I have MULTIPLE proof of account ownership that apparently did not matter to them.

old receipts on my e-mail for gold subscriptions and updates with my first and last name in the message.

They asked for my old console ID. I had called when my old console broke, and I'm sure they had my Console ID on that report(Still the same name, address, phone number etc.), but they apparently couldn't search for it.

I had an old CC on the account, name and address still the same, just the numbers changed.

I even asked if I could fax over my license as proof of who I am, but no good either.

I understand Xbox live tries it's best to protect the privacy and ownership of an account. But I have plenty of evidence that would prove ownership of the account that they would not accept. Especially a license. I am pretty frustrated right now. Is there
anything I can do/ talk to someone else besides the phone support to maybe help this progress?

Double gamertag related to my Xbox Live account.

Is there anyone from support here in the Xbox Support forum??

As I said before, Italian Xbox phone support told me to post the issue here so it could be sorted out!

Your system generated a double Gamertag "Shockwaver350" in my XBL account and now I cannot change my gamertag.

Could I have some attention from Support team here in the Xbox Support forum, please?....

 

Retrieving on old inactive gamertag?

Hello, I was directed by xbox support to post here to reach the Enforcement Team. I'm wondering if there is a way to get an old gamertag that has no gamerscore and has an original xbox gamerpicture? A majority of original gamertags appear to be inactive
for a long period of time and it would be so cool if people today could put those gamertags to good use! The account name I would LOVE to have is "stargaze".

 

Nope that would be it. So if you can't recall your password or don't know the answers to YOUR security questions then you're out of luck.

 

I don't mean to be difficult. This was years ago and I was young. my security question was honestly filled out in 2008 if I had to take a guess. Why can they not process something as simple as a drivers license as proof of who I am? That should be more then
enough. In addition, to screenshots of my e-mail receipts. How is this not suffice for access to an old account? I have all the info right in front of me that they refuse to take.

 

Those documents can be faked. With security questions you either know the answers (proving it's you or someone close to you) or you don't know the answers.

 

Since you don't have the console and without the console ID # there is nothing phone support can do.
