Discus and support older and new to possible game pass in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Ok, so I used to use an xbox 360. Going to get series X console only then I can.     Ok, so I used to use an xbox 360. Going to get series X console only then I can. I will never play online and will never use a PC...only the console. With that said...there is a game named "call of the sea". Says it is a PC game only.
    It appears the only way I can play this is "if" I get a game pass. Must I get the Ultimate...which is $15 am month, or can I just get the "console only", which is $10? I do not see an option where I can just by the DVD and skip game pass altogether. I don't wish to spend and extra $5 a month needlessly on features I will never use.

    Also, I do see there is the option to purchase this game for $20, but it would just be stored to the console HD and not a physical dvd. Thx for pointing me in the right direction....DM

    Call of the Sea is not a PC only game. It's available on the Xbox One and Series S/X. You don't have to own Game Pass to play any game. You can just buy the game outright.

    I'm not sure if the game was released on disc, but if so, you would purchase it through any retailer that sells video games (Amazon, Best Buy, etc. ). Otherwise, the only way to purchase it would be digitally.

    Ok. Then if I get it digitally then I don't ever have to have a internet connection to play it, correct? It's loaded onto my HD?

    Sounds like I've been living under a rock....LOL. Just wanna be sure of what I'm getting into. Thx

    Go with the Xbox One X, it not only plays new games in the best 4k possible but it provides performance boosts to older games.
