Old xbox one has to be hard reset weekly

So abot a year ago, i obtained an original xbox one console through a friend of mine that switched to pc and didnt use it anymore. For awhile it didnt have any problems (gets cleaned regularly), But for some reason it started being slow. I looked up potential
causes for this. Internet problems, internal issues, Poor HDMI cables, Little space, etc. I tried everything and it seemed like everytime i tried to "fix" it or pay for it to get fixed, it got worse. Im sure its somewhat because its a first gen xbox one and
its outdated and old, but this didnt become a problem until i started playing bigger games like, ARK, Fortnite, Blackops 4, Warzone, and Red Dead Redemption. So i started hard reseting it because soft reseting didnt work due to it bugging my games and refusing
to load after reseting. so i called a friend of mine who works as a xbox repairer, and he told me to get the botherboard and hard drive looked at. This was the first time getting the motherboard tested because i didnt think there was anything wrong with it,
i thought it was a hard drive and fan issue because it likes to overheat alot since the fan isnt that good. Ive tried everything and im out of ideas and i dont wanna get rid of it. Can someone please help me figure out whats wrong with my bloody xbox?
