Old Xbox One games not playable

Do like sports games like madden 15-17 or nba 2k14-17 unplayable now on xbox one because it feels like anytime i try to install them it never works and stops midway even if i try to do it offline

None of the old 360 games are playable on xbox one (Arcade or otherwise)... Some old games may be ported in the future, but they are not there yet.

Ok so just had an idea, since they will be porting over the 360 to the Xbox one, can xbox games that were playable on the Xbox 360 via xbox be playable one the one?? For instance, I really love Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 1 and 2..... they were
for Xbox and we're playable on the 360, could those games theoretically be played on the One??

um, that was one of the first things the said about the new xbox, the old 360 games would not be playable on it.
