Old Xbox Live Screenshots keep preventing me to permanently delete them in the Xbox App

Hi there Leo, unfortunately you cannot delete an account once is created it is on the LIVE servers, only thing you can do is delete them off of your hard drive or storage device. But if you never connected to live with them, a delete will PERMANENTLY remove
them, preventing you from accessing the save game files you have with them.

After 90 days, captures are deleted from the Xbox network. It actually states this on the captures app. In the future, if you have a screenshot or video capture you want to keep, it is always a good idea to make a backup of them asap.

Same issues. So I tried to delete a clip in the app and it said it was unable to. I deleted it from the network with the Xbox one and it deleted. I also deleted a clip from the console hard drive along with several screenshots and that works with no issues.

Sometimes when viewing clips on the network it shows old clips that I've already deleted, but they aren't veiwable. Switching between everything and game clips in manage captures makes them disappear.

This does not happen when I delete clips or screenshots directly from the Xbox one hard drive.

I checked network settings and it says NAT type: Open and all services available.

Still can't delete or upload screenshots at all, only clips.

The point is i have all the passwords but do not use the account but its linked to my live , i want to move my live over to my permanent email and then delete the old account and other xbox profile i accidentally created which is hindering me moving it

I apologize for the trouble, R0llingN0mad. To prevent this from happening again kindly perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps.

Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
