    Old Xbox Account Woes


    So I updated my old old Xbox 360 and it signed me out of my account. It prompts me to sign in and even autopopulates the email for me, but claims the account no longer exists.

    I had to create a new/different Microsoft account just to ask this question.

    Obviously I still know my gamertag as the account is still there on the Xbox, but it won’t let me login.

    Frustratingly, there is nothing on Support and no way to call anyone.

    Any ideas? I’m heartbroken.

    Mine is full of old tax returns and financial documents so I'm not risking plugging it into the One and losing that data.....then you'd really see a Woe is me post.

    I'll head to the super geek forums and ask....someone will know.
