Old xbox account recovery

Hello everybody,

I’ve been trying to recover my old xbox account that I had back in 2013-14, the account is under a family plan email which I don’t know the password to, and the back up email is a old army email which I can’t access anymore, I’ve changed the mail email of
the main account to my email(account incharge of the family plan) to my current email, yet every time I try to recover the old account it still wants to send a recovery code to my old army email, and solutions?

You would need to call support for your region and attempt to verify the account. If you can do so they should be able to provide you with the WLID email on file. If you cannot verify the account though, they would not be able to provide any account iformation
at all, for security reasons (primarily to prevent social engineering).

Unfortunately if you don't know any of the other details connected to the account you wont be able to get it back.

They need something to verify you are the owner, or anyone could phone up and claim they just couldn't remember the address.

I think you need to contact the official support team!

So maybe they can, through some specific question, change the email and password of this old account!

Hi,

it's very easy. Try to log in on Xbox live with the related email and click on 'forgot password'.

The system will reset your password and will send you an email with a link where you can choose a new password.

And don't forget to write it down. ^^

If you're not able to recover the account in that way, you may need to create a new one. This is because no one at Microsoft can view or change the account details for you, this is for security policies.
