    Hello,

    So my wife is having trouble with her account.

    We had a 360 that wasn't wireless, I had a live account and she just had a profile on the console. Now that we have an Xbox One, she made a live account and I signed into my old basic account (she plays now and I don't). But the trouble we're running into
    is trying to sign into her live account on the 360 so that she can transfer her saved games over in the cloud. It keeps saying that there's already an account used with her email and to try a new one. We've tried signing-in and signing up.

    The account doesn't matter to us more than trying to get those saved games.

    This is fortunately not the case for Rock Band DLC on the Xbox 360. :smashin:

    However, the code might not work on a non-US account (at the moment), so that could an issue for someone who hasn't created a fake US Xbox Live account (or doesn't want to use that account to redeem the code).

    Thanks I appreciate the help. I just rememebered the password for my old account from 360, but I wasn't paying another $50 for 2 gold accounts.

    Hey there WoodOrb,

    Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, are you meaning that you have an old non-live account and a new Live account that you want to merge?

    If so, unfortunately you cannot merge accounts so that wouldn't be something you could do.

    You can make your non-live account a Live account by logging in on your Xbox 360 console, go to the Social tab, then select "Join the fun" and turn it into a free, Silver account.

    So how will I be able to recover a non Xbox live account from Xbox 360? All I want is to put one of my 360 accounts to the Xbox one but it isn’t signed up on Xbox live so it’s quite literally impossible unless there’s some other way I haven’t heard of..

    You need to have a xbox live gold account on the xbox 360,the account you are posting on is silver.

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid that it sounds like you currently have two accounts, one offline on the xbox 360 and one Xbox Live account on the Xbox One.

    There is an option to promote your offline xbox 360 account to an Xbox Live Account, but this will require a new Microsoft Account (email address), but the next issue would be that it is Not possible to merge multiple accounts into one Xbox Live Account.

    So basically there are two options, continue with the current Xbox Live Account that you have on the Xbox One, or to promote the 360 account to an Xbox Live Account and download that to the Xbox One and continue with that one.

    Figured it out. My account is the only one on the 360 with LIVE, and we were trying to load it while my son was signed in to his non-LIVE account.
