Old school Halo 3 controls

Am I the only one who wants the B button to Melee and RB to reload and the right stick to crouch. When I saw you couldn't have at least B as Melee I quit the game its very hard at least for me to change, considering this is a bungie game they should realize
that some people don't like B as crouch (unless I am a lone wolf on this).

you can get those two switched, can't you?

i dunno i just set mine to puppeteer and it feels good. R-stick is crouch and RB is melee. I always hated pressing the B button for in-game actions like melee cause it always took away from decent coordination to move your thumb up there away from the stick....
and don't say use your finger cause that can get crampy

Even indie games have completely customizable controls. WTF?

I mean really and truthfully how hard is it to make this? Why does EVERY game (specifically FPS) that comes out have to be CoD/Halo control related.......... and nothing else......

i realize this game is basically MMO Halo but still... no excuses... So what if i want my jump button to be the right thumbstick and melee to be Y and grenade toss be down on the D-Pad!!! (not really but still...)

 

Yeah I don't understand why we have to go by their controls every person enjoys a different button layout, yeah I can live with the puppeteer layout but I still keep pressing B to wack someone this is a major disadvantage if I ever wind up in PvP.

 

Yeah there you go got a K.d of 0.12 and got a ton of hate mail all because I can't have the f****** controls I want and am used to, major disadvantage,

 

The controls scheme MAYBE different when it is released. Anybody got an official word on this?

 

I liked using southpaw in Halo. That set the left trigger to melee. It still wasn't the perfect setup but it worked.

 

I played default settings in the destiny beta but I noticed they had bumper jumper might give it a whirl as I used to play bumper jumper.
