    Old Mojang Minecraft Account


    I've owned Minecraft Java Edition for about ten years. I haven't used it in about 5, and this week my fiance discovered she liked playing it with her friends. Her friends purchased it for her through the microsoft store, and I already have it loaded on my
    computer. I've connected my microsoft account, but microsoft says I need to purchase it.

    I've already tried to find a redemption code to get it to see that I've owned it for ten years, even have the receipts from mojang.

    If you do not have a purchase proof, there is no way to get Minecraft back. I say this because since you purchased it using a Mojang account, Mojang is responsible for your game license. And since you cannot prove you own the game, Mojang will not give you the game license back. I'm really sorry about this.

    And if you can sign in to the Minecraft website with your old Mojang account, the account has not been migrated.

    Actually, mojang support responded again after a few days and fixed my old minecraft account. Now it's back working and has minecraft Java. Maybe they can help you too.

    If you haven't migrated that account you must contact Mojang support, if you still have the purchase confirmation from Mojang, that should be the email you used to create the account and you could try the recovery process from Mojang

    That's normal, you can't access the old Mojang account after the migration, you need to use the email you used to migrate the Mojang account to, in the launcher you need to select Minecraft Java and then Microsoft login and then use the email you use during the migration process
