Old Gamertag Question

I want to see if I can get the Gamertag Goyard. Even though it is taken. It hasn't been used for 6 years and has no Live Membership on it at all. Is there a way I can get the Gamertag?

i am trying to recover my stolen xbox live account, but i cant remember the email i used.

i am using one of my old accounts to ask this question, my gamertag name was strabupalize.

Hi there,

Gamertags are not an on demand request item.

Gamertags are tied to Microsoft accounts which are used for all Microsoft products including, but not limited to Live, Windows, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Groove, etc. Just because a tag doesn't not have Live membership, does not mean it's not in
use.

Gamertags come available when they come available so you'll just have to wait until it becomes available.

We are talking about an Xbox Gamertag not all other accounts. I've never seen a Gamertag be used when it comes to windows and office. I understand the point but it hasn't been used in a long time and you could check his latest history. He hasn't
been even near that account in years. When it comes to popular names and regular name gamertags. People just make the account to either have it and play with the account or usually hold or sell the account for profit. I know this because my friend made $1000
when he sold the gamertags University, Soccer, and Skittles. If you read this please take one last look at his account if he ever even uses it. I just want to have the name to play the account. I don't want to gain any profit for it, just to play and have
a good time.

If the gamertag does not log in for 5 years or the person changes it then it will become available.

No one will free it up for you.

As mentioned,gamertags are used on other services,not just xbox live,so you have no way of knowing if it is being used or not.

You will just have to wait for it to become available if it ever does.

Selling gamertags is a strict violation of the ToU/CoC & anyone you sells or buys gamertags risks being banned.

Sorry, thats not the question.

Know i have a new Gamertag. The old Gamertag on the old 360 must be delete from XBOX.COM. The Problem is: We haven't the old 360, it was sold. On XBOX.COM is the old 360 actice, that is false.
