    Old gamer tag being displayed any idea why?


    So I made my xbox account sometime ago and I got an autogenerated name and I was like well I don't like this name so I changed it to something else and it said it successfully changed and come a few months late after not playing on my PC for a while it still has not changed it shows it has changed when I go to the change gamer tag but it does not display my new name on my profile any ideas why that is?

    I followed the steps above but the profile with my old gamer tag still remains there. Any idea why it's not deleting it? Or is changing my password with fewer characters my only option?

    Hello,

    You should visit the enforcement forums. No one on this forum can assist you in getting your gamer tag unbanned, or help getting the charge waived.

    No idea why your gamer tag got force changed but I do know the enforcement team do look.at all complaints and deal with every case carefully. If it violated the code of conduct in any way while being a personalised gamer tag, action would be taken.

    HOW TO CHANGE GAMER TAG TO XBOX 360 GAMER TAG

    For some reason my new gamer tag linked itself to my old gamer tag email address. I don't know how to change that and to link my old gamer tag back to my Microsoft account. I believe that's why I cant play as my old game tag. Is there a way to fix that?

    Why has my gamer tag not changed on xbox1

    Under settings, then account , all options that show something with a name show my old gamer tag, I could not find any account option under the settings, and then system option but when I play a game then it shows my new gamer tag, iv only just finished downloading a game to play, I don't understand why I still have to see my old gamer tag on everything else though
