I tried to play assassins creed 4 ( the old free games with gold copy) and I can't play because my "membership" ran out (which it hasn't) can you help please

As first step try to clean the cache by holding pressed the front button for 10 seconds when you switch off your console

Didn't work. It says I don't own it, when I know for sure I got it.

Simple steps you should always try when a game won't work before seeking help is to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself. If the problem persists then a power cycle.

It won't be completely free anytime soon, but they are working on removing the Gold requirement for free-to-play games.

like old games from gold? For example, umm assains creed was free if you had gold you downloaded it and played it. A few weeks later a new set of games for gold pop up. The game that used to be in the set of free games if you had gold doesn't work

Why would there be a fix? It is working as intended

CurreNtly it is the free gold weekend

when you have trial codes or free gold weekends you are not actually gold

you only have access to certain modes like social games on halo and non ranked matches

Since crucible is a ranked match it most likely won't work

you actually need paid gold

GoD version is old version so DLC and save game from disc dont work.

GoD is pretty old and buggy what a shame for a free games with gold.

I hope they actually update the version... But no info on that !!!!!
