Old email is unreachable

Hello, my Xbox live account does not allow me to log in to it anymore due to some message saying that there was some activity on it that was concerning, so it won't let me log in to keep my information safe. But the issue with that is to verify the account
I need to be able to access an old email that AT&T does not allow me to view anymore. (It was an SBCglobal.net email and for whatever reason AT&T has no way to access the email) I have tried to the verifying without the email thing but the automated system
keeps declining my request due to something with information. I put in the Xbox Live ID or Device ID that is associated with my Xbox, but nothing seems to make it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty concerning. It's a huge bummer when your security proofs no longer allow access. Unfortunately, the only ways to unlock your
account would be what's outlined in Find your Microsoft account email address. If that does not do the trick, it
would be best for you to start up a new account.

select Family and Online Safety as the category
select I Want to Protect My Account as the topic
scroll to the bottom of the options and select Chat Online or Request a Call
then explain the situation when you get through

Whoa now. First off, it's time for a new translator. Secondly if I understand you want to know why you can't get a refund on a lost item or code. Either A) it's similar to a cash card purchase and just like money, you lose it, it's gone, or B) If it was
sent to you for free they don't want to waste resources tracking down and redistributing rewards as it costs them money in labor as it takes away from their employees take that could be spent on improving experiences for customers with more pressing problems.

I'm very sorry for the problem you're going through, but you should keep in mind that you cannot transfer your achievements from the old gamertag to a different one because they are two separate accounts. What you have left to do is try to recover the account associated with your old gamertag, because currently there is no way to transfer the data to a different account with another associated gamertag other than the original one.
Have you already tried the account recovery form?
