Old debit card expired but the new one has the same number and won't let me use it to pay ...

My old debit card I used to get gold every month expired and now there are overdue funds on my account. However when I go to pay with my new debit card with the same number it does not accept it and I cannot renew gold or pay off my overdue funds.

Cant update or add Visa CC.

Current Visa card expired and was replaced with a new Visa card. The new card was the same number but a different expiration and CCV number. Account management does not let you edit and update the current Visa card with the new CCV number. It also does
not allow you to add the new Visa card either because it has the same CC# as the old card. Old card cannot be removed as subscriptions are using it so the new card still cannot be added. Its deter\mined to not let me pay.

 

Got New Debit Card But Site Won't Let Me Add It

I recently got my new debit card in the mail, which supposedly has a chip in it for added security or whatever, and activated it online. It has the same name and 16-digit number as the old one, but a different whatever-the-3-digit-number-is called and a
different expiration date. Now, I want to have it be the card any future X-Box Live transactions or what-have-you use instead of the soon-defunct old one. When I tried to add it to my account so I could switch it, however, the site ("Microsoft Account - Billing
and Payments") won't allow me to add it. It's NOT the same as the old one, since it has the exp. date and 3-digit-thingy different from the old one even if the 16-digit thing is the same. The bank is going to cancel my 'old' card on Feb. 2nd; if the site won't
let me register the new card by then, I'm screwed.

Why won't it let me register the new card? What do I do to get it to let me do so?
