old cloud saved data

hi , i have been a gold live member for few yrs , a friend has been playing off line under the same acct , gamertag as me , he has had no internet acess so has been playing offline , the last week he has got internet acess , now when i go on it says i have
2 xbox ones and the data it saves to mine is over 3 mths old , i have lost 3-4 mths of saved data from horizon 3, forza 5 , forza 7 etc , horizon 3 and forza 5 have gone back to the initial start up screen and on forza 7 i have lost over 200 cars , badges,
uniforms , saved cars etc , how do i retrieve my old cloud saves instead of the saves from my friends machine , i have lost months and months of playing , buying , and free stuff .

WWE 2K15 Save Data Issue

I'm having trouble recovering console data for WWE 2k15, but instead I keep loading old cloud data I saved on the cloud, how can I load my console data instead of the cloud data.

If you have overwritten the data then you can not recover old progress. Data with the Cloud are synchronized with the most recent copy of the save. If you chose to use the save on Cloud (which you did not have) then the local data was synchronized with a
new game.

 

There is no way to recover it once the file has been overwritten. You can contact support directly to see about the items that you purchased. Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

hi thank you , thats bad news i did not want to hear , so how do i go about getting the other person to change from my acct usuage to make their own acct so that i dont have 2 conflicting xbox ones come up under my name , ? both machines seem to be conflicting
with each other , its causing me a lot of dramas , i have gold vip membership my friend has no acct as he has been offline under my acct , , he has his own games , some of mine are disk some of mine are digital download from the store , thank you , steve

 

Have a talk with the other person and explain the situation. Also, it is a violation of the code of conduct to share accounts anyway so you guys are putting your account at risk for being banned as well.

 

hi thanks for the reply and info about , was not aware of those things you mentioned , we both own individual games , i also own digital download games , did not think someone could acess them, have already spoken to them about opening their own acct and
changer their gamertag , because at the end of the day even though its a friend of 30 yrs they still have acess to my acct details and i dont want 1 of their kids acessing and buying from my acct , the other person does not have an acct as he has never had
internet acess until this week , thats the problem thank you

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. Sorry to hear that this is happening to you. As the Ambassadors stated before, its a violation of the

Xbox Code of Conduct to have an account shared that way, can also leave you open to enforcement actions that were not a result of your own behavior and when your friend accessed the internet with the offline account, it would have overwritten your other
saves. You can attempt to re-download your cloud savesif you wish. Its definitely worth a try!

In regard to the account, if he is not willing to relinquish using it to create his own gamertag/account, then you can simply

update your password and
update your security information which will effectively keep him out of the account and force him to create his own. Your account should still hold all of the purchases made to it. Otherwise, you'll be signed out of the account whenever anyone signs in
on a different console.

hi XBF Amber , yes i know excatually what you are tellinmg me , i have already told my friend that he has to open his own acct , as it is a violation to run under the same acct , he is going to do that today , i explained to him that we both run the risk
of being banned , so it will be sorted in the next 24 hrs , even though he has the same games as me its not as if he is using my games or digital downloads , its more the fact he is upsetting my cloud data , thasnk you very much for helping me , he must have
over written my data as my progress that is save in forza 7 goes back 3 mths ago , so now have to do all again , many thanks . steve
