Old Account Won't Verify

I cant verify my email or get into my old email so was needing to be linked to my new email account thatbi can get into, so won't be using the old email again.

How do I go about this?

The account may be over 30 days old, but it won't start that count down till after you've verified the email.

Try logging in at http://account.live.com. It should say at the top if the email has not been verified. If not, send that link out and wait the 30 days.

There is an "update email" on the site, but that may not actually free up the email for use. You will get mixed answers on that.

I do apologize for your inconvenience however one thing you have to remember is the old Xbox service didn't use Windows Live ID's. With this being said the most you can do is verify account information without being able to use the old account online. You
will have to wait until it gets purged from the system which takes a minimum of 7 years of inactivity. In conclusion you won't be able to revive your old gamertag at this time.

Verify that the account logged in to the console is the same account that has the subscription service.
On the old console has the account been logged out?

Writing this for my 8 yr old daughter. She would love to play with other kids. She uses our main account (we will verify and can voice verify).
