Old account recovery

I have an old Xbox account and I wanted to reset the password so I can log in, but I no longer have access to the email and the forum apparently can’t help me recover my account, I tried the forum with information such as name, Xbox ID, gametag, postal code, and phone number. which is everything I think I remember, and it wasn’t enough. So I tried to reset the password with the phone number set to it, but now the problem is that the phone number cannot receive sms and I can’t do anything about it. I have tried Xbox support, and I was told to call for the code, even though that is no longer an option since roughly 2020. I just want my old account back so I can go through what would be a beautiful, cringy time capsule.

Hi,

it's very easy. Try to log in on Xbox live with the related email and click on 'forgot password'.

The system will reset your password and will send you an email with a link where you can choose a new password.

And don't forget to write it down. ^^

Unfortunately if you don't know any of the other details connected to the account you wont be able to get it back.

They need something to verify you are the owner, or anyone could phone up and claim they just couldn't remember the address.

I'm sorry to hear your account recovery form is not being accepted, JAMALLAVALLEE. I'm afraid to say that this form is the last resource when about recovering an account we're referring to.

If you're not able to recover the account in that way, you may need to create a new one. This is because no one at Microsoft can view or change the account details for you, this is for security policies.

what information would need to be provided?

Im pretty sure I used a a conjured up name address ect as I already had enough email addresses back then.

If I literally just knew the email I could recover it/refesh my memory and remember the password.
