Old account I want to renew payment for, have no recollection of the details :/

So basically I have an old account I wanted to renew, but am in a bit of a pickle. I haven't used the account for over 2 years, and the e-mail address I used for it was no longer secure and I stopped using it over a year ago. So I can hardly remember any
details for the account, and it seems that Microsoft's renewal system is quite strict (as it should be).

I really don't know what to do here, I doubt I'm going to get it back from a phone call to support since they're just going to ask the same verification questions.

*sigh* Am I just going to have to give up on the account I used for years? =(

XBOX Live withdrew payment against an old Credit Card - How?

My XBOX live account was due to renew Feb 13 on automatic renewal, but knowing my assigned credit card expired in Nov 12 I did not update my card details knowing I didn't want to renew. I received a reminder late Feb to update my details but didn't and
noticed today that payment was taken. However, on my XBOX live account it still shows my old credit card details and states I have no valid payment options on my account; how then has payment been taken straight from my bank account? It also shows that my
next renewal date is Feb 2014. I need to contact XBOX Live to reverse this payment; how?

No, it won't.... I make all my purchases on xbox with a debit card and use codes for my gold subscription. In my subscription details it says auto-renew isn't on.

 

Probably. Phone support can look into password resets, but they probably base it off of the console it's been used on recently, so you're probably out of luck.

 

It would still be the same console, I've had it for about 6 years now. I contacted support anyway, and they suggested I give the verification a better shot. Kind of frustrating, but it seemed to be enough to get past the initial automated stage.
