Okay please read the whole paragraph before reply, this issue is very funky and specific.

Hi all, okay so here is the background before the foreground.

Xbox One X, have an warranty option to replace if necessary. Because this console was part of the first microsoft event where you got a credit card limit to get a console and 2yrs of at the time game pass and gold this was summer 2018 from a Microsoft store.

Console was on retail dash but moved to Alpha preview skip ahead. Dash type has NO bearing on this issue.

Hard drive externals are 2 8tb seagate hdds from costco manuf 2019, both have been swapped in March and June of this year to eliminate any problems.

I have a valid live account with game pass ultimate.

Now with that out of the way, heres the problem.

The hard drive that had the issue is known as the A thru M drive that sits on the left on my tv setup. That we will call drive X.

The second hard drive N thru Z sits to the right and is of zero issue. That we will call drive C.

So I have X as the install location and the internal drive is the capture location for screenshots etc. Drive C is just treated as an external like X.

I have a ton of games on X but it is not filled to capacity. Maybe 68%, I go into games and apps and look at my drives and tell X to transfer to C.

X begins to do the circle animations on each title to grab info for size of each title and I have it arranged as an A thru Z format so I can move N thru Z titles to drive C without having to look all over.

As the X drive is searching and posting drive file size the Xbox One X suddenly stops, animation on screen freezes and console blinks three times and shuts off along with drives X and C.

This issue happens everytime I try to transfer with X but not with C. As I stated earlier console is up to date and hard drives are up to date firmware wise and retail configuration doesnt play into this matter.

I cant post a video due to file sizes and I need help. Is this a bug or something with the Xbox console, Could there be a bug related to if one external drive fills up to a certain % that transfers bug the console.

I have hooked both drives up to my friends Xbox One X who is straight retail and it produces the same issue. As stated above both hard drives have been replaced this year and both have manufacturers dates of 2019.
