Ok, what happened to my mic?

I've been off for about a week and I got the update today. Now, my mic has defaulted to the Kinect and all chat comes through my center channel speaker. What happened? I'm using the standard MS headset that came with the Xbox One.

Ok, well, I see a refund now in my MS account, not sure what happened, disregard.

 

Stopped receiving points

ok not sure what happened to my account. But I have stopped receiving any kinds of points months ago.

 

Alright, well I turned my Xbox off and restarted it via the controller with the headset mic already attached and it worked. Don't know why they changed this and it seems like theres other mic issues as well.

 

SAME PROBLEM, no one helped me, it is the fault of the update controller

 

Well what I mentioned above has worked for now......

Hey, next time this happens try this instead of turning on and off your Xbox One

Go to your home screen, up the top left go into the users list, highlight your Gamertag and select Choose This Person. This will asign the controller to that user and your voice should be transmitted through your Chat Headset again.

Hopefully this will solve your problem
