    Xbox live support asked me to re post this since xbox.com would not let me respond with messages! PLease help this is infuriating having to do this in the forums instead of a "REAL" helpful customer support line as im sent running circles to no fix! please
    just replace my console microsoft broke with an update!

    New Mini Xbox 360 can't connect to tv please help

    ok so i bought a Mini Xbox 360 slim and i won't connect to my tv i have a av cable with red white yellow but whenever i turn on my xbox there is no signal i have a hd tv i used a hdmi cable for my older xbox 360 but that won't fit in the new one the ports
    on the back of my tv are 1 green 1 blue 1 red 1 white 1 red and there is 2 rows in total nd there is no yellow which ones do i use? please help.

    Looking for an HDMI splitting solution

    Greetings,

    I would love to be able to use the TV functionality on my xbox, but the other members of my household are unable/unwilling to pick up a game controller to get to the TV.

    What I would like to accomplish, is to have my cable box split the signal between my TV and the X1 so that they BOTH get the feed. This way, I can play with the TV functionality on my xbox, but also my other household members can use the TV the same way
    they always had.

    So I thought, this should be simple, and picked up one of these:

    1080P HDMI Port Male to 2 Female 1 In 2 Out Splitter Cable Adapter Converter | eBay

    Physically, it all connected ok, but it does not work with both my TV and my X1 plugged in at the same time. If I remove one, the other works, but I get a distorted signal on the TV and no signal on the X1 if both are plugged in.

    I'm using Bell Fibre Op for my TV signal, and a Sony Bravia 40" TV.

    Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or is this just a bum adaptor?

    Xbox One shows blue screen on live tv (cisco 4742hdc box)

    I just started having this same issue. It had been working properly for one year. But suddenly the TV signal from my Comcast cable box began to cut in and out, and eventually just displays a blue screen (though someitmes it flashes to "Your TV signal
    was lost" then flashes back to blue).

    At first I thought it was my cable box, so I replaced that. Then I replaced the HDMI cable.

    Everything else on the XBOX works fine. And if I connect my cable box direct to my TV, it works fine. So it must be with the XBOX One itself.

    ...and my warranty expired. Great.

    yes i have. Ive tried both. when i run the xbox through the switch tho the TV changes it message from Weak or No Signal, to Mode Not Supported.

    Ive just been trying to take pics on my phone to upload but the flashes are so fast my camera is barely picking up many, no need to disconnect as ive done that while trying the different tv's ive uninstalled and reinstalled dead rising 3 and its still doing
    it, but the fact its doing it on multiple games should mean its not the games themselves. Im talking to xbox support but they dont seem to have a clue what they are doing

    Ok, so I have my xbox one hooked up to my tv and it's also hooked up to my cable box with two separate HDMI cables.. I can't even get a signal. Help please?? It says it detects a signal

    but no picture ever pops up.

    No Image or sound.

    I have unplugged everything and replugged everything but I'm still not getting any signal or sound. The Xbox360 fan turns on and the on button lights up but my tv says there is no signal and there is no sound.

    (I think my Xbox is the original white one).
