Ok now I'm getting bored!

Just finished up my 3rd regen and was thinking about the 4th but I'm starting to get really tired of playing the game. I got 700 + gamer points out of the game, I still need to finish up 50+ matches in capture the flag and last titan standing, but the game
has gotten so same ole same ole that I can barely stand playing anymore. The dlc was a bore, and can't wait for some new games to come out. This game was a hit for about 4 months now I'm afraid Its time for me to move on. HOpe Respawn puts some more ***
and thought in the sequel.

Honest opinion

IMHO, It's ok. I'm going to wait and see what other modes/features Titanfall has before I buy it. I played the beta for a few hours today and got bored, but I'm getting bored with all the FPS's as it is.

Disagreed, This is game might not just suit your game style, For millions of other people though they would say different

 

I'm still enjoying it. Only another 46 titan kills by rodeo and I'm gen 7. Our server is still getting games in campaign, attrition, LTS and variety pack. Hopefully the update will bring some more players back so we can get the DLC playlists, capture the
flag and hardpoint working again.

 

People r bored with the dlc?!! It isn't even on 360 yet. Patch #3 isn't on 360 either as far as I can tell.

I am still getting some good entertainment from this game although I admit I would like some new content, really fired up about the new, upcoming "Marked for Death" mode! For me, the $ vs. minutes played ratio is an awesome value. As a total body of work
I think this game is freaking awesome. I am playing TF on the XBONE and but hope they implement/execute more expedient support for my 360 brethren!

 

The game is still a lot of fun for me, but it is lacking game modes and weapons. At least the weapons are balanced. I'm really looking forward to the new Marked for Death and the new Last Titan Standing game mode. Me and
a buddy usually play Last Titan Standing together, so it will be nice having a more tactical version of that.

 

I like the new maps although I don't play them often because they tend to attract players whose skill is far and away above my own.

I am really excited about "marked for death" and I hope they get the new update out soon.

 

I love this game, But my only one complaint is that there isn't enough weapons. I mean I would say that 75% of people use the R101 Carbine, 15% use the Car S.M.G and the other 10% of people use either the shotty, one of the 2 tow snipers or the 3-burst.
The subcompact S.M.G has worse range than the shotgun, and the kraber (although it is VERY powerful) is so slow it doesn't warrant any type of play style except maybe Pilot Hunter. And don't even get me started on that stupid Smart Pistol, It's like someone
threw up an idea in a bucket, spit in it a few times and out came the smart pistol. WORST GUN IN THE GAME, its only good for Attrition and it sucks at that.The only other Gun that I would say could be good (but isn't) is the G2A4 , which in my opinion is very
tough but lacks the bullets needed to take down multiple pilots. The only thing that helps it is the Quick Reload perk. Which actually makes it a decent weapon but still doesn't help if you have to fight more than 1 pilot at the same time or the match trigger
which makes it fire faster buts then you only get 6 bullets (which will only get you one kill, or t if you don't miss

 

I remember Halo 4 had the same sort of problem at release with the DMR. It basically was the only gun anyone who wasn't doing challenges used. Then they did a weapon balancing patch that brought almost every weapon into play. Everyone started using what
they wanted and there was no more of the one gun for all purposes thing we have going on in Titanfall at the moment.

 

While the primary weapons are lacking, I think the primary weapons are balanced. Every gun has a purpose (not sure about the Smart Pistol) and yes, I know most players use the Carbine, but it's the same thing in any online shooter.
People will always use the weapon that they think is the best, or the weapon that they always get killed by. In Titanfall you are encouraged to use different weapons if you want to move to the next generation. I would usually never use a sniper, but I had
to and now I've fallen in love with sniping.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't want more weapons, because I do but not if it is going to make the game unbalanced. I like my arcade shooters to be simple and that is what Titanfall is.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with the Carbine being a tough gun if you had to earn it, heck make it so where you get the 1 preset class with the carbine for everyone, and then you unlock The Carbine at level 50 Instead of the Kraber. I mean come on it's the
first gun in the game that you have from level 1 on (at level 4 you can start customizing your own) that's why I have a problem with it. Heck even on COD the M1A1 sucked (was the 1st gun unlocked) compared to say the Type 95 or the Scar. That's the way it
should work. The higher the level the stronger the gun

 

Yeah I agree with that. Well, I do hope they add in some more weapons.

 

The smart pistol is good for beginners, IMO. I haven't touched the thing since about my third week of game play, though. And TBH any time someone has killed me with it, it was my fault because I was in one place for too long.
