I got it...they need to secure if not already doing so, the rights to have the exclusive remake of Eternal Champions...as well as put some of the Billion dollar power into securing the sequel to Titanfall already as well for Xbox platforms only. Jut getting
really surprised by the desperation of Sony lately in their money throwing to secure exclusive titles even wit them outselling the XBO. I just find it humerus that the Xbox One did so well during the past two months over the PS4 and now Capcom has already
sold their soul to Sony for the SF5 game and it's not even timed but for good...or at least a remix or three edition comes out. They just lost alot of money from the Xbox camp. This whole exclusive is getting as bad as the 90's and Sega/Nintendo but if you
have to fight it out, at least do some fighting on your end too Microsoft. Enough with playing nice and congratulating the enemy...if you can afford to blow billions on a late published franchise like Minecraft, surely you can throw some greenbacks towards
a few companies with new IPs as well.

    :)

What is Microsoft's next big move?

I don't see any improved hardware this gen, defeats the purpose of a console. They dumb thing about 'resolutiongate' is both x86 consoles are so simliar in system power that pixels need to be counted or frames measured over hours to tell the difference.
It astounds me that people think ~30% means 'vastly superior'.

Next big move is cloud compute, made taboo by the uninformed. We've just recently learned they've managed to mask 250ms latency, few rumors of games in developement with more cloud utilisation, I'm still hoping for a massive MMO persistant world with a
    scale physics not possible locally.

What is Microsoft's next big move?

Maybe not 10 years, but I'd guess 7-8 years, just look at what they achieved with the 360.

OK Microsoft -- time for your next big move.

MS have a good line up and supposedly they still have a lot of unannounced exclusives. I think exclusives are important however or else we wouldn't really need more than 1 console.

It does seem like Sony has been announcing a lot lately though. I wouldn't expect to hear much else from MS before Christmas though. They're gonna ride out with what they have at the moment. Maybe they'll name one or 2 here and there and save them til E3.

Man, Sony helps to fund and develop one game and it's like they've got a monopoly on the industry. Titanfall, dead Rising, Ryse, Sunset Overdrive, Tomb Raider, Mass Effect last gen...The list goes on. It'll be okay. MS has games coming. Get both consoles
if you can and then you don't have to worry about it.

After seeing Sony announce they cutting down on their electronics side of business, it's clear after this weekend that they are taking the games world and PS4 focus up to a whole new level. I still cannot believe Microsoft is being their same old passive
selves and of course, the leadership is already out today on twitter, "congratulating sony" on their psx weekend. Why the hell do they keep kissing sony/japan's ..really frustraing. I really hope they have something new to announce in the near future instead
    of new "changes to avatars"...whoooooooo!

They understand the need for healthy competition and congratulating someone for a good showing does not count as kissing.

Only pathetic fanboys could be frustrated by something like this.

Why does someone feel that MS and Sony have to respond to each other's move over and over again? Sony really set a bad precedent for the industry last year.. I have more than enough games to play on my X1. Enough so that I only need one console.

  10. MS congratulated Sony because they share a common interest is the video games industry. MS is not compiled of fanboys/ employees.

Maybe they did the same in the past with Apple over their operating systems ? Competition between Sony is good for MS.

Besides Phil Harrison has already gone on record saying he doesn't get the fanboy thing and has openly admitted to owning a PS4. Only Fanboys can be miffed about Sony exclusives.

  11. Regarding the OP's post, I could certainly do with a remake of Eternal Champions - I think that game had more character development than what you'd see in most fighting games... And it was good too!

The exclusives announced by Sony were in response to the exclusives that MS already announced and actually released. MS will reveal what they have when the time is right. At the moment anyone looking to pick up an X1 already has a wealth of exclusives to
buy and keep them busy for months.

Congrats M for giving us the OS ability to change the Dash background. Congrats M for bringing back many of the missing Xbox Live Features which Xbox 360 has. Congrats M for listening to our feedback caring so much to create an official feedback site. Congrats
for also flying through the Certification Process for Minecraft and acquiring that game.

Next move.... bring-back-voice-messaging.... ahmmm... you know... Xbox Live Feature.... which kids and young peps use. I would also like them to make a chat pad too. I don't want to use a USB keyboard or my smartphone to type messages or only use my controller
to use the on-screen Dashboard speed, typing at like Dial-Up speed. And make the Dashboard a bit more like Xbox 360's. I love the 360 Dashboard UI. Many peps don't really like the Windows 8 style. That's why in Windows 10 they're bringing back the Start Menu
found in Windows 7. And continue to make Xbox fun and secure and whatever you do, don't sell Xbox Microsoft. You're the best company in the world to manage it. If you sell it to Apple, I would question their Privacy Practices. Other than that, everything else
is fine. Oh, and plz don't get rid of Xbox Live Support for Xbox 360 anytime soon. And I think the current Xbox boss is awesome too, someone who actually cares about it's features and what we individually and collectively like.

I'd gladly theow in some money to fund a kickstarter for a proper Eternal Champions game. Heck, I'd run the campaign except that I don't have any experience in making games..only playing them on 4 different continents...

The 3rd party exclusives MS struck deals with are already much bigger and more important to their library than SF5.

MK is the fighting game for me, as long as it is coming to X1 i am fine
